Record 42 nations to partake in 2015 Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk

A record number of participants from 42 countries will take part in the annual festival "Slavic Bazaar" in Vitebsk.

The latest nations who expressed their desire to visit Vitebsk were Germany, Austria and Belgium. 

Hard work is underway on the main festival site. Installation works are underway in the summer amphitheater. LED lamps is the main peculiarity of is the stage of the 24th "Slavonic Bazaar".

Anatoly Vasenda, Head of the Summer Amphitheatre:
The stage will be very elegant, with original chandeliers and the screen being the basic elements. The design of the concert hall is more classic to add solemnity.

Not only the summer amphitheater but also cozy apartments are waiting for stars. Boris Moiseev and Nadezhda Babkina, famous Russian singers (Boris Moiseev was born in Belarus), always stop in this hotel in the city center.

This year Alexandra Pakhmutova plans to live here. The festival will feature hert concert "We do not live without each other." Our hotel cannot live without Alexandra Pakhmutova either!

The "City of Masters" will be working near the festival site. This year, about 250 craftsmen from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Latvia will exhibit their manual works. For the first time, the organizers will give each of them a coin with the main symbol of the festival - a cornflower.

Concerts will begin even before the official opening ceremony of Slavic Bazaar. For example, on July 7 the Summer Amphitheatre will welcome such stars as Grigory Leps, Alexander Oleshko, Sergei Bezrukov and others. The main program of the festival contains about a hundred events.

The festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" will officially open on July 9. The first concerts in the summer amphitheater are scheduled for next Tuesday.
