I International Trade Union Youth Forum held in Belarus Belarus is hosting the I International Youth Trade Union Forum. It brings together more than 100 participants from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Cyprus. The program includes meetings with businessmen, mass media and the arts. The 1st International Trade Union Youth Forum organizers decided to start not with the official opening ceremony but with a historical perspective. The participants laid flowers at the "Barrow of Glory" - one of the symbols of the Great Victory.

Alexander Lukashenko calls Slavic Bazaar a global scale festival The international arts festival Slavic Bazaar started last week in Vitebsk. In 2015, it is attended by a record number of participants - from 42 countries.  Contrary to its name the festival hosts artists not only from Slavic states, but also from Kazakhstan, Brazil, the UK, France, Norway, and Sweden. As many as 21 artists competed at the international song contest for the grand prize - 20 thousand dollars. In the Year of Youth, support to young artists is particularly relevant.

Why does Belarus attract Chinese? Belarus is becoming more and more attractive to Chinese tourists. In 2014, more than 10,000 Chinese people visited Belarus. Our citizens have become regular guests in Beijing as well. Chinese artist Ao Te's exhibition opens in Minsk The Yanka Kupala museum in Minsk is hosting an exhibition of famous Chinese artist Ao Te. He is popular all over the world. He is also called the "Tiger King" for his fundamental paintings featuring these animals. The artist works in the technique of Chinese ink painting on rice paper. It is the second time he has come to Belarus. Inspired by our nature and works of the Belarusian writer Yanka Kupala, Te Ao created a series of works devoted to the country.

Participants of Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championship about Minsk The Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships starts in Minsk on May 1. In 2015, it brings together over 200 athletes from 37 countries.   All gymnasts have already arrived in Minsk. On April 30, moving away from a busy schedule, the girls went on a tour of Minsk. Sofia from Latvia is rehearsing right in the center of the Belarusian capital.

IBU Youth/Junior World Championships Biathlon 2015 in Raubichi: Opinions of biathletes from Brazil, Italy and USA The IBU Youth/Junior World Championships Biathlon 2015 is underway in Raubichi near Minsk. It is being held brilliantly, not only from the point of view of the organizers. Belarusian athletes pleased their fans with first successful peforrmances. And many foreign participants are simply discovering Belarus. Tatiana Revisore reports. They are determined at the start and do not give up even after the finish line. They remain icy calm at the shooting range and do not hide emotions of a warm welcome.

Junior biathlete from France: Belarus has an excellent track, better than that in Austria! On February 17, the IBU Youth/Junior World Championships Biathlon 2015 officially open in Belarus' Raubichi. More than 600 athletes from 37 countries have already arrived in Minsk. This is the first time Belarus has hosted a competition of such a high level. On the eve of the official start, shooting skiers shared first impressions. Teams from Austria, Germany, Sweden and Canada landed in the Belarusian capital on February 15. Young athletes were preparing intensively for the races.

IBU Youth/Junior World Championships Biathlon 2015 opening ceremony due at National Flag Square in Minsk on February 17 The IBU Youth/Junior World Championships Biathlon 2015 starts in Belarus. In the morning and afternoon, athletes held official training sessions in Raubichi and the official opening of the tournament will be held in the evening at the State Flag Square. The organizers promise to surprise fans and participants of the championship with a bright light show. The renovated Raubichi ski complex will be the venue for the tournament.

Christmas Hockey Tournament: Players' spare time Not only matches and trainings filled the schedule of participants of the tournament. It also included a tour of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War, visiting Komarovka and other formal and informal meetings and events. Minsk walking tours are already outdated for guests of the Christmas Tournament. This year it's the 11th unofficial world championship, and many players know our capital better than native citizens. Minsk is almost like a second home for the participants.

Christmas Hockey Tournament: How playes spend free time Hockey players from Latvia saw the sights of the city and shared their impressions.  Dmitry Iskrov, hockey player from Latvia:It's very impressive. It’s clean and beautiful everywhere.  I got very strong impressions. Everything is more fundamental and extensive. Hockey players visited Red Church and even put candles. After this religious place the athletes went to a secular place - to the mall for shopping. For example, Sergey Kuznetsov spent ten minutes choosing souvenirs.
