President Lukashenko congratulates Belarusian tennis players on reaching Fed Cup World Group The Belarusian tennis players defeated Russian opponents and for the first time reached the Fed Cup World Group. The match finished at Luzhniki Small Sports Arena in Moscow yesterday evening. The final score is 3:2 in favor of Belarus.  The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, congratulated the women's national team on the victory.

Azarenka to play for Belarus against Russia in Fed Cup World No5 Victoria Azarenka has confirmed that she will play for Belarus against Russia in the Fed Cup playoff match. "I want to officially confirm participation in the Fed Cup in Moscow this weekend! Hope to see more of our fans," Azarenka wrote on Twitter. Thanks to the success of the Belarus national team in the February match against Canada, which was without Victoria Azarenka, Belarus will for the first time have a chance to enter the Fed Cup World Group.
