Tablets now used in population census in Belarus to speed up data processing The trial population census ended on October 13 in Belarus. New methods, which will then be used during the national census in 2019, have been practiced in the Molodechno district since October 2. During this time, 15,000 people were interviewed. Each respondent had to answer 49 questions. Thanks to the innovations of the campaign, the whole procedure now takes quite a bit of time, only 10-15 minutes.  The main innovation was that paper questionnaires were replaced with tablets. This will speed up the processing of data.
