Shakhter Soligorsk and Torpedo Zhodino replaced managers The head coach of the national team of Belarus Igor Kriushenko confirmed that he is leaving the post of Torpedo Zhodino manager. The Belarusian coach headed the team from 2011. At the moment Torpedo are seventh in the championship of Belarus. In the nearest Sunday Kriushenko will leave his post, while Andrei Zygmantovich will act as the head coach. Belarus wins four medals at Canoe Sprint European Championships Belarusian athletes won four medals on July 16 at the European Rowing and Canoeing Championships. The competition was held in Bulgarian Plovdiv. Three awards were cast from silver. Andrei Bogdanovich and Denis Makhlai finished second in the men's C2 200m. Olga Khudenko won silver in the women's K1 500m. Nikita Borikov did the same in the same event for men. Elena Nozdryova finished third in the women's C1 200m. On July 15, the first day of the competition, Belarus won two medals: silver and bronze.

The first set lasted almost an hour and ended on a tie-break, but the Belarusian failed to win it. In the second set Halep did even better leaving Azarenka far behind 5:0. The Belarusian took two games, but it was not enough. Halep sails past Azarenka in two sets: 7:6, 6:2. By the way, after this victory the Romanian tennis player guaranteed herself top spot in the world rankings.

Dinamo Minsk to face FK Rabotnički in Europa League 2nd qualifying round FC Dinamo Minsk beat Faroese Runavik 2:0 in the second leg of the Europa League 1st qualifying round. The first match in Belarus ended with a victory of Minskers with a score of 2:1. This score left the Faroers a good chance of qualifying for the next round.
