Belarus to launch second remote sensing satellite by end of 2019
Technical specifications in the second Belarusian remote sensing satellite are being agreed these days, said Director of Geographic Information Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Zolotoi.
BKA-2 will be at least four times better than its predecessor.
The satellite will create topographical maps of a 1:10,000 scale. BKA-2 is scheduled for launch by 2019.
UN project Inclusive Belarus launched in Grodno

Launch vehicle with Belarusian on board departs for ISS from Baikonur
A carrier rocket with a Belarusian on board has been successfully launched from Baikonur.
The flight is in the normal mode, the ship has entered orbit. It is piloted by Oleg Novitsky, who went to the ISS as the commander of the crew of "MS-03 Alliance" together with a French and an American astronaut.
Novitsky will take the Belarusian flag to the International Space Station. It will happen in less than 2 days when the ship docks with the ISS at an altitude of about 400 km from earth.

Ukraine Security Service subpoenaed over incident with Belavia aircraft
The Court in Kiev has opened proceedings against the Security Service of Ukraine regarding the incident with the Belavia plane. The lawsuit was filed by Armen Martirosyan, who was taken off from the flight.
The incident took place on 21 October. The aircraft, flying to Minsk was ordered back to the airport Zhulyany at the request of the Ukrainian Security Service, who threatened to use fighter jets in case the Belarusian plane did not follow the order.

Turkish President commemorates WWII victims in Belarus
After the Friday prayer in the mosque, the Turkish President paid tribute to soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War, which is part of WWII, from 1941-1945 in Belarusian history.
