The Presidential Decree on Crafts will simplify this activity that is necessary not only for people’s self-employment but also for attracting tourists to the country (as it was discussed with the ex-president of Iceland, it’s one of upcoming sectors in Belarus as well as in Iceland). Alena Syrova met with craftsmen, who told her about their passion.

Teatralny Kufar international theater festival gathers 300 artists in Belarus 20 theaters and 300 participants from all over the world gathered at the forum "Teatralny Kufar" in Minsk. Guests from Chile, Tunisia, the Philippines, Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland, the UK and Russia came to Belarus to show their works. Performances are in several languages, including the language of plastics. Teatralny Kufar is held in Minsk for the 14th time. During this time more, than 60 countries took part in the forum.

Naviband presents new music video Run On September 12, Naviband, one of the most popular music band in Belarus, presented a new video for the song “Biažy” (Run). “Biažy” is one of the singles from the album “Illumination”, released in January 2017. According to the group, the video is full of love to the native country and to the profession they adore so much. In the video, artists wear national Belarusian costumes. Kirill Nong became the director of the video. Fans of the band were also invited to take part in the filming.

Teatralny Kufar theater festival starts in Minsk on September 21 Two dozen performances from about 10 countries will be presented at the theatrical stage of "Teatralny Kufar" festival. The International Festival of Student and Youth Theaters will start on September 21. Russian GITIS team, the Moscow theater "Modern", the theater troupes of Tunisia, the Philippines and Chile have brought their creative works to the Belarusian capital.  Of course, Belarusians will also take part in the contest. More than 200 artists will take part in the festival.

16th - first half 19th century editions of Belarusian printing houses exhibited in National Art Museum A unique exposition of antique editions has opened in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus. Books of Belarusian printing houses, printed in from the 16th to the first half of the 19th century, are presented there. The earliest of the exhibits is the Gospel from the printing house of the Mamonichy brothers. About a dozen of editions have been picked for the exhibition.
