After the first exercise - with five ribbons - Belarusian athletes (Anna Dudenkova, Valeria Pischelina, Arina Tsitsilina, Maria Kadobina and Maria Kotyakova) received a total of 17.283 points and took 5th place. In the second routine - with clubs and hoops - the Belarusians earned 18.016 points, ending up in 5th position with a total sum of 35.299 points.

Belarus scoops seven awards at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Minsk Belarusians won seven awards at the BSB Bank Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, which finished in Minsk's Falcon Club. On the final day of the tournament, medals in individual events were contested. The leader of the Belarusian team Melitina Stanyuta was on the podium three times on May 22. She won one sliver in the hoops event and two bronze medals (balls and clubs). In the ribbon routine, she got 5th place, behind another Belarusian Yekaterina Galkina who ended up fourth. Margarita Mamun of Russia won gold in all the four routines.

Belarus' Stanyuta wins all-around at Bucharest Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix The Belarusian Melitina Stanyuta has won the individual all-around at the Grand Prix of Bucharest in rhythmic gymnastics. After the four types of program (ball, hoop, ribbon, clubs) Melitina Stanyuta scored the highest number of points among the participants, 74.150. Second was Russian Arina Averina with 73.600 points. Her sister Dina was third on 73.100. Another Belarusian Ekaterina Galkina was fifth 72.700 points.

Belarus' Melitina Stanyuta settles for bronze at European Games in Baku Another two bronze medals for Belarus at the European Games. Melitina Stanyuta posted a good performance in the individual all-around in Baku and took third place.  Stanyuta was behind two Russians. Another Belarusian Ekaterina Galkina was sixth. In the morning of June 19 Ekaterina Borisevich, Veronika Nabokina and Karina Sandovich showed third best result in sports acrobatics. Belarus are currently 4th in the medal standings.

Belarusian team takes rhythmic gymnastics bronze in group exercises at European Games The first set of awards in rhythmic gymnastics has been contested at the Baku European Games. In the all-around group exercises, the national team of Belarus won bronze in the all-around. In the first routine with five ribbons Belarusians showed only seventh result, earning 16.950 points.  But in the exercises with clubs and hoops Belarusians were brilliant, earning the top spot - 17.900, making the total score 34.850. It allowed them to take third step on the podium.

Only one contestant from a country will enter the individual finals in rhythmic gymnastics. This Belarusians will not be able to repeat their European Championship achievement when they scooped nine medals, including gold in the group routine. Belarus' Ekaterina Galkina wins 3 medals at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Uzbekistan After the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships 2015 in Minsk in early May, Belarusian gymnasts continued to fight for the World Cup awards. At the fourth World Cup in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), the Belarusian athlete Ekaterina Galkina won three awards (1 silver and 2 bronze medals) in individual routines. She won silver in the clubs event earning 17.950 points. Ekaterina added two bronze medals in the ball (18.100) and ribbon (17.900) finals.

Russians also won in the individual routines with the hoop and the ball.  Meletina Stanyuta of Belarus scooped silver in the hoops event and bronze in the ball routine. Another Belarus' bronze went to Ekaterina Galkina.

Domracheva voted Sportswoman of the Year in Belarus The newspaper Sportivnaya Panorama has summed up the traditional voting to determine the winners of the sports year in Belarus. The poll among sports journalists from print and electronic media has been held for the 56th time. Some 106 respondents voted for the best athletes of the year, the best coach and the two teams (in playing and non-playing sports).  Three-time Sochi Olympic champion Darya Domracheva became the best. She was 181 points ahead of the nearest competitor.
