The finding is unique, because one part of the Catholic priest's vestment is sewn from several fragments of the world famous Slutsk belts, Belarus' hallmark. The restoration of the valuable exhibit has been made possible through a presidential grant. It took experts over a year to restore the silk fabrics. The historical discovery came to the museum in 2008. The original owner of the Catholic priest vestments is unknown.
