Andrea Rigoni: I need to understand Belarus from inside to be objective in my report Belarus and Europe are engaged in a dialogue on all topical and sensitive issues. Negotiations on a variety of topics will continue. On March 23, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with Andrea Rigoni - representative of the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly. Andrea Rigoni is the Rapporteur on Belarus of the PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy. He arrived in Minsk to prepare a draft report on the situation in Belarus. It will include a new resolution of PACE.

We will show western biases about Belarus are far-fetched, Alexander Lukashenko says Belarus is committed to the basic principles of the OSCE, said President Alexander Lukashenko a meeting with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly president Christine Muttonen. Yesterday, she had meetings with Belarusian MPs. The parties signed an agreement on the 26th Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. It will be held in Minsk in July 2017. The decision to hold the event in Minsk was passed unanimously.

The Belarusian leader also assessed the relationship of the republic with the EU. He was pleased that the sides departed from the forthright opposition.
