Minsk has entered the list of the top 10 most promising cities in Europe for foreign investors. The rankings has been compiled by The Financial Times.
According to experts' estimations, the capital of Belarus took 2nd place among the cities on the cost effectiveness of doing business, and entered the top ten in the category "Top 10 the best strategies to attract foreign direct investment."
This year, more than 200 cities took part in the competition. The ranking European Cities and Regions of the Future took into account 96 independent figures.

Belarus working on agricultural business development program
The state program on the development of agricultural business in Belarus until 2020 was reviewed February 2 at the Government. Now the country has more than four thousand dairy farms. Almost 40% of them are equipped with modern facilities and milking robots. Belarus is also constantly modernizing pig and poultry farms.
In five years there should not be a single loss-making enterprise in agriculture, the government said. In 2015, the export of Belarusian agricultural products amounted to more than $4 billion.
