Minsk, Moscow agree on oil transit tariffs to Western Europe via Belarus
Minsk and Moscow have agreed tariffs for the transit of Russian oil to Western Europe through Belarus.
We are talking about transportation of oil via the main pipelines Gomeltransneft Druzhba and Polotsktransneft Druzhba.
In accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Antitrust and Trade of Belarus, tariffs for oil transportation for the Gomel enterprise have increased by 7.7%, while for the Polotsk enterprise almost by 12%.

A new oil field was discovered in Belarus. It is called Ugolskoye and is classified as hard-to-reach.

It amounts to the average oil extraction per year in Belarus.
Exploration drilling will help determine exact amounts of oil in the deposit. Oil is at a depth of 5 kilometers.
BelAZ to step up export by 10% in 2017
The Belarusian truck producer BelAZ has received orders for 2017 and plans to increased output by 15% and export by 10%. The contract package for H1 2017 is fully formed.
On January 3, the company starts its work in the new year.

MAZ develops 'smart truck' responding to road conditions
Minsk Automobile Plant has completed the testing of a "smart truck", which will be able to independently respond to changing road situations and, if necessary, intervene in the work of the driver: increase or reduce speed, stop the vehicle and warn about the danger.
According to MAZ, the truck is equipped with advanced electronic systems of active safety that can prevent accidents. If the vehicle detects an obstacle ahead, to which the driver does not react (if he is asleep or distracted), the car will brake itself urgently.

Belarusian NPP gets replacement for first reactor vessel from Russia
A new reactor vessel has arrived at the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
The structure weighing more than 300 tons and being 13 meters high was made in Russia's Volgodonsk.
Before arriving at the end point of the route the structure had to overcome a difficult way. In the beginning, the reactor vessel was taken from Volgodonsk in Novovoronezh by water.
The heart of the power unit was on the water voyage for 20 days.
Belarus, China creating venture capital investment fund

Russia may lift Belarusian food supply restrictions this week
Restrictions on the supply of Belarusian meat and dairy products to Russia for some businesses will be lifted this week, said vice premier Mikhail Rusyi on December 21 at the Oval Hall of the Parliament.
In order to resolve the issue a group of Belarusian specialists is now working in the Russian Federation. Belarus has already handed over materials about counterfeiting of Belarusian products to Russian investigative authorities.
Belarus, Russia to settle oil dispute in coming days

Belarus plans to increase trade with Malaysia
The trade turnover between Belarus and Malaysia can grow many times in the next few years, according to Belarus government.
On December 20, the government met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Malaysia. Now the countries need to complete the formation of the bilateral intergovernmental commission, which will deal with the promotion of new projects.
They will affect areas such as biotechnology, microbiology, and laser optics.

The new code will be agreed by December 26 - the day when the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the EEU will convene in St. Petersburg.
The draft international instrument will reflect the fundamental requirements for foreign trade activities on the territory of the five EEU states.
