Listapad 2016: Snowy Minsk welcomes cinematography celebrities

On October 8, one of the most outstanding actors Leonid Kuravlyov celebrates his 80th anniversary.
Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the actor on the event.
Kuravlyov played his first part in a movie when he was a student at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. After he played in Shukshin’s movie Zhivyot takoy paren (There Is Such a Lad), he became famous.
Belarus’ President expresses condolences over death of Lyudmila Ivanova
On October 7, famous film and stage actress Lyudmila Ivanova passed away.
She stole away hearts of the audience playing the part of Shurochka in the famous Soviet movie Office Romance. Afterwards, she remained people’s favorite actress. Besides her works in theatre and cinema, she was known as a poetess and author of numerous musical pieces.
Ivanova died at the age of 84.
Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed his condolences to the family of Lyudmila Ivanova.
