Belarus sends humanitarian aid to Syria On September 25 at the Kolyadichi station, the cargo was put in containers: food, children's clothes and footwear, as well as equipment. This is the third humanitarian campaign of Belarus addressed to Syria. This time the cargo will be delivered by train to the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda, and then by sea to Syrian Latakia.

Syrian girl operated in Belarus discharged from Children's Oncology Center As reported by the medical team, the 10-year-old patient is in a satisfactory condition. On September 4, with the help of diplomats, she flew back to her homeland. Belarusian surgeons earlier removed a tumor from the 10-year-old Syrian girl. The girl, as part of a group of Syrian children, was recuperating in Belarus at the invitation of the President Alexander Lukashenko.

A tumor in one of the girls was discovered by chance, during a medical examination, which all the children were going through. In agreement with the Syrian side, the young patient was operated at the Children's Oncology Center of the Republic of Belarus.

As many as three dump trucks, children’s food, clothes and shoes for children will be sent to the captured by war country. All in all, more than 500 thousand rubles have been allocated for buying these goods. This is not the first time Belarus rendering aid to Syria. Some time ago Syria had already received humanitarian aid from Belarus, which was organized by the emergencies Ministry of Belarus.

Belarus to take part in a business forum in Syria Belarus has shipped the first lot of dairy products to Syria. These products are milk-powder and butter. As it has been stated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, Syria is interested in Belarusian product supply. It is likely for the product range to be expanded in the future. Belarusian meat and dairy plants are to hold presentations in the Middle-East in April, 2017.

During the first trial Syrians are invited to taste Belarusian milk powder and butter. As noted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Syria is interested in the supply of Belarusian products. It is possible that in the future the range of exports will be expanded. In April 2017, Belarusian meat and dairy enterprises will present their capabilities for the countries of the Middle East.

President Alexander Lukashenko has sent congratulations to Syrian President Bashar Assad on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself. The head of state reiterated its support for the Syrian society in the fight against terrorism and foreign interference and wished the country peaceful life.

The heads of the Great Britain, Germany, Russia and France agreed on the phone to provide humanitarian assistance in this state. The politicians claim that every party to the conflict should maintain the ceasefire in Syria. And this, according to the peaceful settlement plan, may provide an opportunity to hold parliamentary elections in the country. The ceasefire in Syria came into effect on the night of February 27. Nevertheless, it is frequently violated.

The recent example is the detention at the Minsk railway station. A man who was carrying explosives, two passports and weapons was taken into custody. He had documents confirming that he had been a combatant in the Donbas.

Eight Belarusian citizens evacuated from Syria
Eight Belarusian citizens evacuated from Syria Eight Belarusian citizens have been evacuated from Syria. The people came to Moscow on 17 October. These are Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians and Syrians - all in all 56 people. All of them wanted to leave the Syrian Arab Republic in connection with the intensification of the fighting on its territory.  The Il-76 of the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered to the conflict zone humanitarian aid and took on passengers on the way back from Latakia.
