Belarusian-Lithuanian business forum kicks off in Marijampolė June 8 Belarusian-Lithuanian business forum kicks off June 8 in Marijampole. The meeting of industry and investment companies of the two countries will help strengthen the economic integration between Belarus and Lithuania.  In addition to the traditional business match-making session, Belarusian entrepreneurs will visit a number of companies and factories in the region. This will facilitate the establishment of direct contacts with the producers and expansion of markets. The two countries hold such business meetings regularly.

Belarus posts foreign trade surplus in first months of 2015 The Belarusian economy has a positive trade balance. The Belarus Government voiced foreign trade figures in the first months of 2015 on April 25. The figure is imposing - about $700 million.  The figure has clearly improved compared with the previous period.  Still, however, there are problems with an important predictive parameter - export.

Premier Kobyakov: Belarus and Russia need to restore trade volume Belarus and Russia need to restore volume of trade. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov at a meeting in Gorki, near Moscow, at a meeting with the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev. In 2014, bilateral trade amounted to $37 billion. Social orientation has been maintained in the budget.
