Hungary enjoys relations with Belarus at highest level, hopes for more business contacts China pours a new stream into the life of Europe. Last week, 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, at the level of heads of government, discussed plans for cooperation with Beijing in Budapest. China builds relations with European states bypassing the European Union. I do not know why Hungary was chosen as the venue, but Hungary and Brussels have had a lot of disputes in recent years. Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov participated in the Budapest summit too and called for more active use of Belarus to build bridges between Europe and Asia.

The Head of state held a meeting with foreign affairs ministers of the CEI member states. The meeting turned out to be substantive. Minsk hosts Budapest Days Budapest Days in Minsk. The mayor of Hungary’s capital will be welcomed in Minsk City Hall. It is planned that the guest will visit industrial giants as well. The manufacture of public transport is what makes them interested in particular. The official part of the visit will be enhanced by Belarus-Hungary business forum and business matchmaking session. The cultural program will be no less varied. A folk music group will be coming to Belarus. The performance will be held in the concert hall “Upper town”.

Hungary highly appreciates Belaruls' role in resolving Ukraine crisis, Peter Szijjarto says Hungarian construction companies will come to Belarus. This was said on April 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto at a meeting with Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei. The sides also discussed cooperation in agriculture. Hungarian companies intend to invest in this sector.   The meeting dealt with cooperation in the international arena. In particular, Peter Szijjarto noted that Hungary highly appreciates the role of Belarus in resolving the crisis in Ukraine.
