The press-service of the Belarusian leader, Alexander Lukashenko, reported today that the President is going on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan October 4. The visit will be marked by the talks at the highest level.
The head of state will meet with the Prime Minister of that country Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon Hussain, as well as with the leadership of the Pakistani parliament.
Belarus, USA sign intergovernmental agreement for first time in 20 years
Belarus and the United States signed an intergovernmental agreement for the first time in 20 years. It concerns the protection and preservation of cultural values. At the signing ceremony, Belarus was represented by foreign minister Vladimir Makei.
Mr Makei is now in New York at the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. It is this very platform that became the site of a series of bilateral talks.
Vladimir Makei: Belarus interested in developing cooperation with EU
The Belarusian Foreign Minister, Vladimir Makei, took part in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of members of the European Union and the countries that take part in the EU's Eastern Partnership Initiative (EaP) in Bratislava, Slovakia, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

Media can apply for Belarus parliamentary election coverage until September 4
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has started the accreditation of foreign journalists who are going to cover the parliamentary elections in the country.
Applications will be accepted until 4 September.
Correspondents from neighboring states traditionally show interest in political developments in Belarus. It should be noted that nearly 1,000 journalists from 30 countries covered the presidential election in the republic in October 2015.
Belarus to support traditional family values at UN GA

Belarus preparing visa simplification decree
