Brazil joins the club: all about visa-free travel for Belarusians
From November 25, there is one more country Belarusians can travel visa-free: Brazil has joined the club of 40 countries keeping their doors open to the citizens of Belarus. There is some more good news for avid travellers. Belarusian passport climbs slow and sure up the “travel freedom” list.

Belarusians can visit 41 countries without red tape constraints. The list of them is really astonishing. Not to mention the neighbouring Russia and Ukraine, there are, for instance, such exotic spots as Peru, Ecuador and Cuba.
Salaries in Belarus to increase by 9% in 2017
Belarus' draft budget for 2017 has been adopted. In the second reading, the absolute majority of deputies voted for the draft of the main financial document. It will retain social orientation. One-third part of the budget will be earmarked for state programs: in education - for the development of innovative approaches, while in health care focus will be made on affordability and quality.
Payroll fund will increase by 9%, while labor pensions will be increased twice.

Belarus, Brazil to create joint intergovernmental commission to study the state of partnership
Ufa is in the center of world politics. On July 9, it hosted the summits of the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization. During the summit, Belarus head of state Alexander Lukashenko met with Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff.
A meeting of heads of Belarus and Brazil was held in the capital of Bashkortostan.
Alexander Lukashenko and Dilma Rousseff agreed to establish a joint intergovernmental commission, which will examine the current state of the partnership, as well as prospects for further cooperation between the two countries.
Brazil delegation on working visit to Minsk Region
Minsk Region and the Brazilian state of Goias are expanding economic and trade cooperation. The parties signed a document that will strengthen the agreements reached earlier.
The delegation includes Vice-Governor of the state as well as representatives of business, industry and logistics center.
Brazilian businessmen from Goias State on visit in Belarus
Brazilian businessmen are on a visit to Belarus. The delegation of business circles has come from the state of Goias. The foreign guests are planning to get familiar with the potential of the Minsk region.
They will visit a number of industrial enterprises, hold talks with the leadership of the Minsk region and with representatives of the central government bodies and corporations.
Belarus to cancel visas with Brazil, Ecuador
Belarus has completed the domestic ratification procedures in line with agreements with Brazil and Ecuador on the abolition of visas. The texts of these agreements were published at the national legal website on January 6.
The agreement between the governments of Belarus and Brazil on visa abolition for short trips was ratified by the virtue of the relevant Belarus' law as of December 29, 2014.
Belarus-Brazil: Potash, tires and clothing dominate bilateral trade
In a few days, the UN conference Rio+20 opens in Brazil. The Belarusian delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs will bring to Rio their principle offers. But Belarus is still interested in Brazil as in a promising market for Belarusian goods: today it is among the top ten major foreign economic partners of this country.
