Minister Andrei Kovhuto suspended from office as forgery suspicions mount The Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus was dismissed. Andrei Kovkhuto is suspected of forgery connected with his professional activities. According to the Investigative Committee, dismissal was chosen as a measure of procedural coercion against the minister.  A number of persons are involved in the case. Investigative actions are being conducted with the suspect.

EU to allocate 14.5 million euros for environmental projects in Belarus Belarus and the EU have made another step in the transition to "green" economy. Belarus has gained the support of the EU in the implementation of an environmental program.
