Alexander Lukashenko demands to comply with the national interests of Belarus in adopting the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The Head of State said this on December 9 at the meeting on the draft Customs Code Treaty of the EEU. Commonwealth of Independent Nations turns 25
Today is 25 years since the founding on December 8 of one of the largest integration associations - the Commonwealth of Independent States. The agreement on its establishment was signed on December 8, 1991 by the leaders of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
The CIS today is an internationally recognized intergovernmental organization. It includes 11 states.
The Belarus head of state congratulated Commonwealth leaders on the anniversary.
Vnesheconombank chairman meets with Belarus President
Alexander Lukashenko has guaranteed support for Vnesheconombank (VEB) in Belarus. On December 8 the President met with the chairman of this financial structure. Since 2016 Sergei Gorkov has headed the corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs.
