Belarus, Brazil to create joint intergovernmental commission to study the state of partnership Ufa is in the center of world politics. On July 9, it hosted the summits of the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization. During the summit, Belarus head of state Alexander Lukashenko met with Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff. A meeting of heads of Belarus and Brazil was held in the capital of Bashkortostan. Alexander Lukashenko and Dilma Rousseff agreed to establish a joint intergovernmental commission, which will examine the current state of the partnership, as well as prospects for further cooperation between the two countries.

1st European games in Baku: Olympics with oriental color and invaluable experience for Belarus When will Belarus host the Olympic Games? The question is not ironic, by the way. Nobody thought that the IIHF WM would be held in Minsk. But it was held in the Belarus capital and is considered one of the best in terms of organization. Why not aim for hosting the Olympics? And the first step has been taken. In 2019, Belarus will host the European Youth Olympic Festival. This decision was announced last November in Baku, where on June 12 the first ever European games opened.
