Belarus local elections official date confirmed: February 18, 2018 Elections to local Councils of Deputies will be held in Belarus on February 18, 2018. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on November 14 supported the Central Election Commission's proposal on this date. Nuances of elections to the local Councils of Deputies were considered at the working meeting of the head of state with the chairwoman of the CEC Lidia Yermoshina. In particular, they raised issues of financing and economical spending of the allocated funds, as well as a calendar of activities and an institution of observers.
