Belarus President expresses condolences to Russians after Kemerovo fire

The Belarusian head of state expressed condolences in connection with the tragedy in Kemerovo to the President of Russia.

On March 28 evening, Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. 

Our President on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself expressed his words of support to the Russian leader, the families of those killed and injured. 

Vladimir Putin thanked Alexander Lukashenko for his call and support at a difficult time, and expressed his gratitude for the solidarity shown by Belarus and its citizens on the day of nationwide mourning in Russia.

A fire in a Kemerovo shopping center occurred on March 25. It killed 64 people, including 41 children.
