Minsk to host French gastronomic festival

Sophistication and affordability in one dish. Belarusian products will form the basis of French culinary masterpieces, which will be prepared in Minsk on March 21.

Almost 20 participants of the international gastronomic festival will masterfully prepare unique dishes from Belarusian potatoes, meat and dairy products. At one time this festival will bring together 3,000 chefs from 150 countries.

Didier Canesse, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Belarus:
The key to the success of the event lies in the interest in French cooking. French cuisine is an inseparable part of our culture, it is rich and diverse.

Denis Isaev, chef:
I really like our French bread with assorted oils. Also the French dessert, which we will present at the festival.
