Belarusian skier Yury Holub won a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang.

This is the second gold for our athletes (the day before Sviatlana Sakhanenka rose to the highest stage of the podium).

Yury Holub won first place in the biathlon race at 12.5 kilometers in the category B3 among athletes with visual impairments. For him, by the way, this is the third award of these Paralympics (previously Holub took silver twice).

In total, Belarus has already won seven Paralympic medals (two gold, three silver and two bronzes). In the overall standings the Belarusian team takes eighth place.
