Water taxi to ply in Grodno from May 2018

A water taxi will appear in Belarus' Grodno. The new mode of transport will carry townspeople and city guests along the Neman River.

Now a mooring on the right coast of the river is being built. In addition, a modern complex for the reception of tourist vessels will be built next to one of recreation centers.

The water taxi should be launched in Grodno by May 2018.

It will also be possible to arrive in Grodno by water transport from Poland along the Augustow Canal.

Given that Grodno and the Grodno region now enjoy a visa-free regime such a route promises to become popular with foreigners.
