Turkish company wants to open Amkodor plant in their country

Belarus is ready to cooperate with Turkey on the whole range of relations.

This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the head of the government of that country on February 15. This was the first official visit to Belarus at the level of the prime minister in the history of the two countries.

Business circles of Belarus and Turkey continued their dialogue at their own level. Minsk hosted a major business forum.

Today the two countries can boast many examples of successful implementation of joint projects.

Khalil Ibrahim Dursunoglu, General Director of a partner company of Amkodor in Turkey:
The main reason for our stay here is the intention to open the Amkodor factory in Turkey. This will allow us to increase revenues and adapt the very high quality equipment of Amkodor to the Turkish market, because it is very different from Russian, for example.

Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
Today we are talking about the fact that our prospect and future is industrial cooperation. This is Turkish investment in the modernization of production facilities, the creation of new industries, the development of new technologies. This is a completely new and concrete plot, which we support especially today. A new sphere in cooperation is logistics, of course, this is our scientific and technical cooperation.

In recent years, the Turkish business - construction, food, tourism - has found its niche in Belarus. The partners are also investing in Belarus' economy. In 2017 alone, more than $40 million of investment came from Turkey.
