Domracheva, Skardino to do their best in individual biathlon race at 2018 Olympics

February 13 was not very fruitful for Belarusian athletes at the 2018 Olympics in South Korea.

Yuri Danilochkin finally had to compete in mountain skiing. Some of the starts were cancelled due to the bad weather. The Belarusian skier came 34th in combination. He still has time to analyze his performance and improve results at the upcoming starts.

Alexander Voronov showed good results in the skiing sprint as well. He went through the qualification and enter the quarterfinal. Nevertheless, he did not make it into the half final. Belarusian athletes in women’s skiing sprint did overcome the qualification rounds.

On February 14, Belarus’ Marina Shkanova is performing in mountain skiing. Hopefully, she will show her best qualities and will perform successfully. The speed skater Tatiana Mikhailova is getting ready to partake in the 1000-meter race.

Nevertheless, the main attention of Olympic fans will be drawn to biathlon. Prominent Belarusian biathletes Darya Domracheva and Nadezhda Skardino will do their best to get onto the Olympic podium.

It will be interesting to see how Dinara Alibegova will be performing in biathlon as well. She still has no experience in competing at the Olympics, but she has a really good chance of making a name.
