Alla Tsuper about her Olympic freestyle skiing program

Because of the weather on February 12 in Pyeongchang, freestylers' training was canceled. In an interview with CTV Channel Belarus' freestyle skier Alla Tsuper talked about the weather and her Olympic program.

Yulia Beshanova, CTV:
How well is the track prepared and what do you think about the weather conditions?

Alla Tsuper, freestyle Olympic champion, Belarus:
Our acrobatic slope is, in principle, well prepared. The slopes are cut out well. Landings are fine. Of course, the weather conditions do not allow us to train well. Today there is a very strong wind. Skers' events were cancelled and our training too. We have two more training days ahead, so everything will be fine.

Yulia Beshanova:
How confident are you?

Alla Tsuper
The mood is resolute, this goes not only for me, but for all athletes.

Yulia Beshanova:
How can weather prevent you from showing your top form in freestyle?

Alla Tsuper:
Of course, weather conditions determine very much, especially if there is a wind. Because of the wind, we stand for a very long time. During 2.5 hours we can make only five jumps - this is very little.

Yulia Beshanova:
Do you have a difficult program?

Alla Tsuper:
Triple somersault. It's quite complicated. All the girls in the team have a difficult program, so we will fight with dignity.

Weather has prevented Darya Domracheva from performing well at the 2018 Olympics. She took 9th place in the sprint and then came in only 37th in the pursuit. It's curious that in her first race after childbirth, Domracheva also took 37th place.
