Grodno Region introduces tourist passports

A tourist passport was issued for foreigners in Grodno Region. This is more like a guidebook stylized as a document.

The coat of arms of the Grodno region is on the cover, inside there is information in three languages: Russian, Polish and English.

It is planned to issue such passports in Belarusian, German, Lithuanian and Chinese languages, because the geography of tourists is extensive.

The booklet contains materials that will be useful to any guest: information about sights, hotels, cafes and shopping centres. Everything is illustrated and supplemented with addresses. Such a guide will certainly become a useful and pleasant souvenir for foreigners.

Tatiana Lidyaeva, deputy chief of the Sports and Tourism Department of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee:
There is information not only about the visa-free territory, but also about the entire Grodno region. We believe that each region of Grodno is original and interesting. We would like to focus on it.

There is a visa-free territory today, but it’s worth opening a visa and going to any district of our region.

The next step will be the issue of a guest card for tourists of the Grodno region. It will be an electronic card. With the help of this card, a foreigner will receive discounts in museums, shops and souvenir shops. Tourists can buy this discount in advance when ordering a tour.
