Robo-cat developed in Belarus

Talented young people of Minsk will present the 50 best projects on the city stage of the nationwide competition "100 ideas for Belarus", the Minsk City Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union said.

The creative projects will be presented on February 1 at the Center for Information and Communication Technologies. The best works selected during district stages will be presented there. Their authors are schoolchildren and students, young scientists and rationalizers of enterprises and organizations.

Visitors will see the educational robot toy Robo-Cat K1, the mobile application "Study and play", and the universal drilling table mini-machine.

Among other exhibits will be innovative technologies based on non-traditional raw materials in the food industry, smart surfaces for quality control of food products and other ideas of various fields of application.

Perhaps, at this stage, some of the developments will attract interested investors and business partners who might help implement the idea. In addition, an expert council of representatives of the scientific community and entrepreneurs will select the top 20 projects that will qualify for the final stage of the competition.

Winners of the national finals will receive tickets for the international youth contest of the CIS member states 100 Ideas for the CIS 2018, which will be held in Minsk.
