Economist: Belarus may benefit from mining and tokens


Kirill Rudyi, the Ambassador of Belarus to China has expressed his own opinion on Hi-Tech Park Decree 2.0, officially known as Decree No.8, to news agency.

Kirill Rudyi said that the Decree No. 8 is limited by the High-Tech Park, whereas in China such documents regulate a wider range of tasks, concerning digital technology implementation to everyday life. Nevertheless, it is necessary to bear in mind that the IT sector is becomimg a part of business processes in many spheres of the economy. Therefore, improvements in the technology sector contribute to the improvement of economic processes.

According to the words of Kirill Rudyi, blockchain technologies allow to speak about a global process, founded on the basis of the society’s trust.

If to refer to cryptocurrencies as to a “bubble”, then currencies as dollars, euros and other deserve the same attitude towards them. The question is how well will this idea embrace people and make them believe in it.

The Belarusian Ambassador to China also spoke about the advantages of mining and tokens for Belarus. Due to the lack of innovative projects, this sphere could activate growth and the fundamental capital formation.
