"We plan that he will go with me. It will be very cool to get additional support on such important days. He will train with me according to my plan. It's very cool that he will be next to me. This is important for my attitude.

It is now very difficult for him. He does not agree with the decision of the Federation. But he is a very strong person. I'm proud of how he is handling such a situation," Domracheva said.

Anatoly Stromsky, general secretary of the Belarusian Federation of Biathlon, said in the TV program What's Going On?: "Chances still remain that Bjørndalen will get, one way or another, to the Olympic Games. Of course, this athlete is unique. It would be desirable to many fans to see him as the sportsman. This would be his final Olympics. I think that he would perform very decently."

"Dasha, of course, is very worried about this situation. But she, above all, is a professional, and she will fight for medals, no matter what."
