Belarus, Poland to develop business cooperation

Minsk and Warsaw must work more on creating mutual innovative projects and to develop industrial cooperation.

This was said by the chairman of the Upper House of the Belarusian Parliament Mikhail Myasnikovich during the meeting with the Ambassador of Poland to Belarus Konrad Pavlik. He is finishing his diplomatic mission in Belarus. In the two years of his work, the relations between Belarus and Poland have become more dynamic. The commodity circulation has increased, by about 20% in 2017. Now it is estimated at 2.5 billion dollars. Not only economic, but political contacts have activated as well.

Konrad Pavlik, Polish Ambassador to Belarus:
Two Ministries were established in Poland: the Ministry of Investments and Development, and the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technologies. I am sure that these two sectors will be important in the cooperation with Belarus. I suppose that there are several sectors where we can work more. It is regional development. Entrepreneurship and technologies, social policy.

Belarus and Poland will continue to develop cooperation. In the business sector primarily. The interest of Polish business to Belarus is growing. The sizes of the investment prove it.
