Belarus-Hong Kong visa-free regime to come into force from February 13

The visa free-regime established between Belarus and Hong Kong will come into force from February 13, 2018.

According to some experts, it will allow to bring cooperation to new level in several sectors, primarily in tourism. Hong Kong is one of the leading financial centers of Asia and the entire world, its GDP exceeds billion dollars. Visas to Hong Kong for Belarusians cost $30.

Dmitry Mironchik, head of the information and digital diplomacy department-press-secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus:
The citizens of the Republic of Belarus and the citizens of China, who are permanent resident of Hong Kong, will have a right to use the visa free regime for no longer than 14 days.

Earlier on Belarus and Hong Kong signed an agreement on avoiding double taxation and preventing tax fraud. The document should create supportive environment in the financial sector.
