Belarusian police rescue moose in Chernobyl zone

While patrolling the Chernobyl exclusion zone, Braghin law enforcers stumbled on an elk who fell into an ice trap on the Nesvich River and pulled it out. Please watch the video of how the rescue operation unveiled.

Probably, the animal wanted to cross the river, but thin ice could not resist its weight.

After considering various rescue options, the police decided that the most acceptable would be to break the ice near the animal so that it could reach the shore itself. It took about an hour to rescue the poor animal.
