Belarus into 2018 Christmas Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament Final

Team Belarus has made it into the final of the 201 Christmas Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament. On January 6, 2018 the team played against Switzerland and won the match with a brilliant score of 10:6 (4:1, 1:1, 5:4).

The score was opened by Belarus’ Yaroslav Chupris on the first minute of the match, the guest tried defending their half of their field, and nevertheless, Yaroslav Chupris scored his second point in a few minutes’ time. With the pass of Alexander Lukashenko, Pvel Bely scored the third goal for Belarus. The Swiss team changed their goalkeeper and they tried to be more active in forward line, what allowed them to score their first point.

However, team Belarus turned out to be even more active and the first period ended with a score of 4:1 in favor of Belarus.

The second period of the match ended in a draw 1:1 and the third period was decisive for the teams, because the winner of the match would be playing in the final of the Christmas Tournament.

The players pleased their fans with many points scored during the period, however, Belarus was stronger and the match ended with a total score of 10:6.

The goalkeeper of team Switzerland Martin Kristen and the forwarder of team Belarus Yaroslav Chupris were named the best players of the match

The final of the 2018 Christmas Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament will be held on January 7 at 6 p.m. (Minsk time) at Chizhovka Arena. The match for bronze will be held on the same day but at 1.p.m.
