A Facebook user posted in his profile a photo of the document that reads about the possibility of mining crypto currency using electricity from the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

"In particular, we are working on the possible use for these purposes [mining] of electricity from the Belarusian NPP, which is now under construction," reads the document signed by Alexander Tuzikov, general director of the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

It is not entirely clear how the Belarusian NPP is planned to be used for mining: if it is a question of providing farms with electricity, then the existing Belarusian power plants, in fact, already participate in the mining of crypto-currencies now.

The Belarusian NPP will be commissioned by 2019-2020. Belarus has recently introduced crypto-currencies into its law.
