First visa-free tourists arrive in Belarus’ Brest

On January 1, 2018 Brest has greeted its first visa-free tourists. A family from Poland decided to come to this city and take a closer look at the culture and traditions of Belarus.

The foreign guests crossed the Belarusian border at noon and are ow planning to stay in Belarus for several days. They are planning to ty out Belarusian traditional dishes and get acquainted with all the sights.

The visa-free regime is extended to Brest and six western districts of Belarus from January 1, 2018. Now tourists can visit these places without a visa up to as many as 10 days.
