December breaks temperature records in Belarus

Warm winters is beating temperature record once again!

On December 29, 2017 the temperature settled at an incredible +6.6! Therefore, a new record was set in 43 years. Plus records were set in other cities of Belarus as well. The temperature in Gomel was 7.8 degrees above zero, in Vitebsk +5 and in Mogilev it was 6.2 degrees above zero, which exceeded the maximum set in 2013, when it was only 4.1 degrees above zero.

Despite the frightening forecasts of some meteorologists, that this winter will be the coldest in the last 100 years, Belarusian forecasters are promising that untypically warm weather for winter is going to settle in Belarus in the nearest time.
