Belarusian ice hockey coach receives award in Gdansk

At the gala evening in Gdansk, the best sportsmen, coaches and patrons of this Polish city in 2017 were honored. 

The prize in the nomination Best Coach of the Year went to the Belarusian coach of MH Automatyka Gdańsk Andrei Kovalev.

The leadership of Gdansk appreciated the fact that Kovalev's club, which was expected to fight for survival in the Polish League, now ranks high fifth in the elite division, the source said.
