Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz congratulates Belarusian Catholics on Christmas Day

Belarusian Catholics are celebrating the most important and brightest celebration of Christianity – Christmas.

The church services are being held in all Catholic churches of Belarus. The Cathedral of the Holy Name of Mary is visited by believers from the very morning. Today the atmosphere is very special. The main service began here the day before.

The Belarusian Roman Catholic Archbishop of Minsk and Mogilev Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz hosted the religious service. Thousands of people gathered to receive the blessing.

I would like to congratulate our people with this celebration. I congratulate Catholics, Christians of other confessions, who celebrate Christmas today. I congratulate our Orthodox brothers and sisters as well, who are getting for the same celebration. I want these celebrations to be happy, all-Belarusian and enjoyable. I want to wish people so that the God’s care of Jesus prevails in people’s hearts and so that they leave in peace.
