Hacker from Bulgaria extradited to Belarus for stealing money in cash machines

In summer 2016 the hacker together with his accomplices broke into the computer system of one of the Belarusian banks and in just a few hours stole more than half a million dollars from Belarusian banks.

However, the hacker has been detained in Bulgaria and the video of his extradition to the Republic of Belarus have been revealed by the Interior Ministry of Belarus.

In 2016 he broke into the computer system of a bank in 2016 and received the possibility to control the cash machines remotely. According to the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Belarus,

the hacker and his “partners” managed to steal 527 thousand dollars, 67.5 thousand euros and nearly 109 thousand Belarusian rubles in just a couple of hours from 27 cash machines in Minsk.

An investigation has been opened upon Part 4, Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. It is not the first extradition of hackers to Belarus this year, this one is 13th.
