Belarus' Irina Krivko wins podium place at Annecy mass start and boyfriend's heart

Belarusian biathlete Irina Krivko created a sensation in the third stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Annecy. In the women's mass start, Irina finished second, which is the first podium place in his career at this level.

Irina shot perfectly on all four ranges and was only 11 seconds behind the winner - 21-year-old Justine Braisaz from France.

Krivko left behind such experienced rivals as German Laura Dahlmeier and Slovak Anastasia Kuzmina.

Irina Krivko:
I did not even think I would be able to get on the podium in my biathlon career. Not in a relay race, but in an individual race. I am very glad that I also entered the list of athletes who were on the podium in personal races.

Moreover, it became known that Krivko's boyfriend made her a proposal after the win. Thus Irina said she would marry in 2018. Congratulations, Irina!

Belarus’ star Darya Domracheva and Nadezhda Skardino are both skipping this World Cup stage. Both have already been on the podium this season.
