Belarus 6th country with lowest salaries in Europe

Belarus is on 6th place in the list of European countries with the lowest salaries. Such data is published by the analytical center Texty.org.ua. According to the study, the average salary in Belarus after taxes is 320 euros.

The anti-rating of salaries is topped by Ukraine - they receive an average of 190 euros after taxes. In second place is Moldova - 216 euros, in third is Azerbaijan - 232 euros. Then follow Armenia - 251 euros and Georgia - 293 euros.

Russians earn an average of 474 euros, while Poland - 748 euros. There was no data on Belarus' Baltic neighbors.

The average salary before taxes in Belarus in October 2017 was BYN 841.
