Domracheva wins bronze in Hochfilzen pursuit race

Darya Domracheva is among the winners once again. The prominent Belarusian biathlonist has won bronze in the pursuit race in Austria’s Hochfilze.

The day before Darya won gold in the sprint race; therefore, she began the pursuit race first. The Belarusian athlete shot pretty clearly; however, she missed only once. As a result, Darya came third. Anastasia Kuzmina from Slovakia came first and Kaisa Mäkäräinen from Finland came second.

The third stage of the IBU World Cup Biathlon will be held in Asni, France. However, at a press-conference after the race, Darya announced that she is going to miss this stage.

Darya Domracheva:
I am happy to have come third in the pursuit race, despite that I missed the target once, but in the end I was among the winners anyway. I will be missing the next stage in Le Grand Bornand, I have a sports training camp organized for this time.
