Artyom and Ksenia from Naviband expecting a baby

The representatives of Belarus at Eurovision 2017 Ksenia Zhuk and Artyom Lukyanenko from Naviband are expecting a baby somewhere nearer to summer.

Artyom and Ksenia do not yet know whether it will be a boy or a girl, but the family of musicians is planning to bring up their child in a creative atmosphere and to take the baby with them to concerts and rehearsals.

“We still haven’t come up with a name for the baby”, says Ksenia.

“But certainly it will have a truly Belarusian name”.

“Evidently, the baby will be together with us all the time and will become part of our team”, explains Artyom.

“It is very important for me that the child is independent, so that it lives here and now with us. We will definitely send him to study at a Belarusian school”.

The couple says that it doesn’t matter whether it will be a boy or a girl and they do not want to rush the events.

“When we were recording the album “Adnoj Darohaj” (The Same Road) in summer, I suspected that I was pregnant”, says Ksenia. “In September, when we were recording the album in a studio, everyone found out the news. This little person has already been to many places with us on concerts. All my thoughts are about the baby, I listen to my feelings and I feel that I am somewhere in Space. I think that the baby knows when I sing”.
