Belarusian stalker dies in Chernobyl radioactive zone

The chief department of Kiev Region police has reported about a tragic event which happened in the Chernobyl radioactive zone on November 28, 2017.

As many as two Belarusian citizens and one citizen from Russia illegally entered the closed military facility “Chernobyl-2”. The 33-year-old Belarusian Dmitry Shkinder wanted some extreme impressions and decided to climb a 150 meter radiolocation post. Nevertheless,

the young man did not consider his strengths and fell down from a height of 15 meters.

When Dmitry fell, his “colleagues” called the police, and they in their turn called the ambulance. However, it was too late and the paramedics only had to certify his death. Dmitry is from Zhodino, has a wife and two children left.

Dmitry became a stalker in 2011 and since then he and his companions visited such places many, nevertheless, this time was the last one for him. At the moment the issue of transferring Dmitry’s body to Belarus is being solved.

The other tourists have been charged with administrative responsibility for violating radioactive security, they will be fined and deported from Ukraine.
