It's now easier to do business in Belarus: President signs decree to remove red tape

On November 23, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 7 On the Development of Entrepreneurship. The document is a very important step to improving the business climate in the country.

What will the decree change in the work of entrepreneurs?

1) It introduces a notification procedure for the most common types of economic activity: household, tourism and social services, trade and catering, transportation of passengers and luggage and the manufacturing of foodstuffs and construction materials. To start working in these areas, you can submit one notice to the executive committee or even send a registered letter.

2) Requirements for fire safety, sanitary and epidemiological, environmental protection and veterinary to the premises have been simplified.

3) Cafes and restaurants do not need to agree with the authorities working hours if they do not work at night.
