Krstičić: Crvena Zvezda to get three points against BATE in Borisov

Crvena Zvezda Midfielder Nenad Krstičić stressed that his team expects to win in Borisov against FC BATE in the fifth round of the Europa League group stage.

"This time a completely different match is ahead. BATE, unlike in the first match, will play at home, and it really needs a victory, which means it will act more openly, which we will try to use. We understand that BATE is a very strong team, and it will not be easy in Borisov.”

Probably, we will have the most important match in this Europa League. Now we focus only on it. I expect that we will take three points. We expect a large number of our fans to come to Belarus, who will give us confidence and support in the stands," the player is quoted as telling the official website.

Crvena zvezda will be through if they win against BATE and Köln fail to gain victory at Arsenal. BATE will be out if they lose on Thursday. Köln will be out if they draw and Crvena zvezda win, or if Köln lose and the other game is not drawn.

Arsenal have already qualified for the knockout round and will host BATE on the last matchday.

BATE have been recently having hard times in the Belarusian championship for the first time in years. They are first but could lose the 2017 title if they fail to win against underdogs FC Gorodeya. Previously, BATE won the champion's title long before the end of the Belarusian Premier League in November.
